About This Project
Advantic Sistemas y Servicios (ADV) is a hightech SME, which has an important background in ICT specialized in the field of wireless sensor networks (WSN) and other remote monitoring systems. Main application targets are in the field of energy efficiency, environment monitoring, and automation. Their collaboration network includes Asia and Latin America.
ADV provides a wide variety of products and services: wireless remote monitoring systems applied to different environments, viability studies, professional training and R&D Consultancy. ADV also participates in R&D projects at National and European level in different areas such as: Internet of things (including cuttingedge technologies such as 6LowPAN, RFID and others), IEEE 802.15.4based wireless sensor networks and innovative ICT solutions, including structural health monitoring applications. Furthermore, ADV participates in the standardization committee ISO/IEC JTC 1/WG 7: Working Group on Sensor Networks, and takes part in the following National and European Technology Platforms: NESSI (Networked European Software and Services Initiative), PROMETEO (Embedded Systems Spanish Technology Platform), EMOV (Mobile Communications Spanish Platform) and MANUFUTUREE (Factory of the Future Spanish Technology Platform).
ADV will provide its expertise in developing monitoring systems in the ICT environment by means of it’s knowhow in WSN. To that end, it will participate in the system’s architecture design and in the definition of the project’s technical specifications (WP2), in the integration, verification and validation of the integrated ICT solutions for the integral energy management of buildings (WP6). Key personnel involved in the project are Mr. José J. de las Heras and Mr. Gerardo Glorioso who were coordinating ARTEMIS Call 1 eDIANA project.
