This survey is anonymous and intended to measure the impact and acceptance that a novel energy efficiency platform could make on consumers’ lives and communities.

Data collected from consumer comprises the time preference of activation for each appliance. How would you be in the definition of this timing?

The introduction of these preferences would be through an app. Would you have any problem using the app?

A Home Controller is the household device, which communicates data between you and your Aggregator as well as controls your appliance activation. It is little, efficient and low-cost. Would you have any problem installing this Controller at home?

The aggregation task results in a communitarian demand vector, which is re-scheduled against the available supply from renewables. Each consumer will get a re-scheduled demand vector. Which of the following sounds more you?

Would you trust the most that

The Utility also gets access to the communitarian demand vector in an anonymised way (billing is controlled through the actual smart metering infrastructure). From this data, novel planning of generation and storage of renewables sources might appear for the benefit of the community/district. How does this sound to you?

Would you be motivated to participate in this pilot so installing the Home Controller at home and the Aggregator at your residential building?
